Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome To Kenya

A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our Guide thereafter you will depart for The Ark Lodge. A Haven in the Hills. The Ark Lodge, is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost a half century later, their home, "The Steep", and opened for guests. Considered a heritage property in Kenya, The Ark Lodge has retained the charm of a private home with the simple comforts of a country inn. Dinner and overnight stay at The Ark Lodge.

Day 2 Aberdares And The Solio Sanctuary

After breakfast you will depart for The Aberdares Country Club, Upon arrival you will be and thereafter we go for a wonderful game drive in the Solio Wildlife Ranch where we will spend upto 5 hours enjoying the home to both the black and white Rhino and come back for a late lunch around 2:30. Late afternoon relax by the pool & rest of the day at leisure. The Solio Reserve is home to both black and white rhinos, recognized as one of the most successful private rhino breeding reserves in Kenya. Wildlife found on the plains include zebra, impala, Thomson gazelle, and oryx amongst others.
Optional Activities : Horseback Riding, Nature Walks, Sundowner, safari Drive.

Day 3 Aberdares To The Great Rift Valley

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for Lake Naivasha which is the magnificent lake in the Great Rift Valley and it’s also a home to 400 species of birds. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. After a Lovely lunch, take an optional boat ride to see Hippos and bird life. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Optional Activities : Bird Watching, Fishing, Cycling, Lake Trips & Nature Walks.

Accommodation : Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4 The Great Rift Valley To Masai Mara

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for the fabled Masai Mara National Reserve. The enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migrations and its home for the big five Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Arrive in time for lunch at the beautiful Mara Leisure Camp. After a sumptuous lunch, you will depart for an afternoon game drive to see the game of savannah and visit to the Masai Village. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Leisure Camp.
Optional Activities : Balloon Safaris, Bush Breakfast/Dinner, Sundowners, Nature Walks.

Accommodation : Mara Leisure Camp.
Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5 Masai Mara

A relaxed rise followed by a hearty breakfast and thereafter a full day game drive with picnic lunch to see the varied game of the Masai Mara. This region is the Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Optional visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and Overnight at Mara Leisure Camp.
Optional Activities : Visit to local Masai village.

Meals : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6 Masai Mara To Nairobi

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the beautiful Movenpick Hotel Nairobi for overnight stay.
Optional Activities : Casino, Night Clubs, Museums etc.

Accommodation : Movenpick Hotel Nairobi .
Meals : Breakfast next day.

Day 7 Welcome To Zanzibar

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Zanzibar is an archipelago made up of Unguja and Pemba Islands, and several islets. It is located in the Indian Ocean, about 25 miles from the Tanzanian coast, and 6° south of the equator. Zanzibar Island (known locally as Unguja) is 60 miles long and 20 miles wide. It is characterized by beautiful sandy beaches with fringing coral reefs, and the magical and historic Stone Town - said to be the only functioning ancient town in East Africa. On arrival at Zanzibar International Airport you will be transferred to the beautiful Dream Of Zanzibar for Dinner and Overnight stay.
Optional Activities : International Diving Centre Tour and Excursions.

Meals : All Inclusive.

Day 8 & 9 Zanzibar

Full days of total relaxation by the beach enjoying swimming and horde of activities. Dinner and Overnight at Dream Of Zanzibar.

Day 10 Homebound

After a hearty breakfast you will be transferred to the Zanzibar international Airport for your flight back home.

Visa Requirements

passport with at least two blank pages, six months' validity, and a visa are required to enter Kenya. Single-entry visas are available upon arrival at Kenyan airports; Multiple-entry visas must be obtained prior to traveling to Kenya.

TANZANIA: You can obtain single-entry and transit visas on arrival at the port of entry into Tanzania.

Important Info
  • Please note that due to dusty conditions on Safari, the vehicles are not air-conditioned.
  • Our vehicles are fitted with extra shock absorbers due to road and off road conditions.
  • They also have mobile phone and camera charging adapters, bean bags, cool boxes and a Safari Library.

    1. Cool Cotton Clothes for the day.

    5. Comfortable shoes or boots for walking and a pair of flip flops.

    9. Please note that internal flights only allow 15 kgs of maximum baggage. Extra weight will have to be paid for directly by yourself.
