Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Dublin

Welcome to the fabulous capital of Ireland - Dublin! Upon arrival, your driver meets you at the exit gate and transfers you to your centrally located hotel for the check-in. The rest of the day free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants or take a good rest in your comfortable room. As an option, you may take the famous Luas - a modern local tram.

Day 2 Dublin City Tour & Irish Dance Night

After a full Irish breakfast this morning, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and carry on to a walking city tour of Dublin.
During the sightseeing tour, you see many of Dublin’s icons while being guided to some hidden and wonderful spots that visitors most often miss. You see Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, the famous Ha’penny Bridge, the Georgian doors of Dublin and Trinity College Library where you see the famous Book of Kells.
You then have a guided group tour of the original Jameson Distillery on Bow St. where it all began in 1780. The former factory founded by John Jameson where Jameson Irish Whiskey was distilled until 1971 now stands as a monument to Irish Whiskey. Here you explore the history and heritage and enjoy a comparative whiskey tasting.
After the tour, you are taken back to your hotel and in the afternoon you may choose to visit St Patrick’s Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol, The Guinness Storehouse, The Dublin Writers Museum or any of the great museums and galleries.
In the evening we invite you to enjoy a show of traditional Irish music, dance, and dinner for which Ireland is famous worldwide. The cast of dancers from Riverdance and Lord of the Dance will provide you with the flavor of different styles of Irish dance. Transfers are not included, you may take a taxi or walk to the Belvedere.

Day 3 Dublin to Cork - Exploring Ireland's Countryside

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel. You are met by your driver who takes you to the train station for your train from Dublin to the Rosslare Harbour, located in south-east Ireland.
Upon arrival, your guide/driver meets you at the train station and takes you to board one of the most scenic train rides in the world - the Waterford and Suir Valley Railway. This family-friendly railway runs mostly along the picturesque banks of the River Suir offering views of the world-famous Mount Congreve Gardens - an area rich in history and which is only accessible by train.
After the scenic train ride, your guide/driver meets you at the train station and takes you to The Rock of Cashel, the site that St. Patrick chose to make the head of his church in Ireland. The Rock of Cashel is a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale.
Your trip continues with a stop at the stunning Blarney Castle where you have the chance to kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence.
Your final destination for today is the university city of Cork. Upon arrival, you are taken to your hotel for the check-in. The evening is free for you to enjoy pubs and restaurants in the city center.

Day 4 Wild Atlantic Way to Killarney

After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and travel with your guide/driver along the wild and rugged south and west coast, which is part of Ireland’s famous Wild Atlantic Way route.
Today is all about the very best Irish scenery and truly breath-taking panoramas that present a new vista with every mile. During the day you enjoy a number of magnificent photo stops.
You first make a stop to view the beautiful scenery at the Old Head of Kinsale. You then travel along the coastline to Skibbereen and around Bantry Bay - one of the world’s largest natural harbors.
There is time for lunch in the picturesque village of Kenmare and then you make your way through the most stunning part of the Ring of Kerry (its "short route" ) along the Killarney National Park.
Your final destination today is the popular town of Killarney. Upon arrival, you are taken to your hotel for the check-in. The evening is free to explore the city at your own.

Day 5 The Dingle Peninsula

Today after breakfast you check out from the hotel and are met by your guide/driver. This day is dedicated to a memorable day tour to the Dingle Peninsula - a journey that takes in the wild and rugged beauty of the Slea Head Drive - once cited as 'the most beautiful place on earth' by the National Geographic.
The peninsula is littered with archaeological remains and secluded sandy beaches. Dingle Town is one of Ireland’s quickly disappearing Gaeltacht regions where Irish is the first language.
In the evening you arrive in Limerick and check-in to your centrally-located hotel.

Day 6 Visit to Bunratty Castle and Cliffs of Moher Cruise

Following breakfast, you check out from the hotel and meet with your guide/driver.
Your first stop is the famous Bunratty Castle and the Folk Park where you enjoy its sights as you stroll from house to house of the charming village street.
Afterwards, you make your way to The Cliffs of Moher - a sheer precipice that stretches for 5 miles along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most impressive coastlines in Ireland. Today you get to enjoy the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre and as a highlight of your day - a one hour Cliffs of Moher Cruise.
After the tour, you continue your journey and have time to see the Burren Region followed by a scenic drive to the city of Galway.
Upon arrival, you are taken to your hotel for the check-in. The rest of the day is free to explore city at your own.

Today kept free at leisure for you to enjoy and explore Galway on your own.

Day 8 Departure from Shannon

This is the last day of your amazing Irish adventure! After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and your driver takes you to Shannon Airport for your departure flight.

Important Info
  • The Boat and cogwheel train are available only from middle of May to September. The rest of the year they are replaced with cable car and bus
  • The boat cruise on Lake Brienz is not available from November to March because the water level is not high enough. The longer cruise on lake Thun during the winter time could be offered instead.
  • It is important to wear something warm and wind/rain protective when going to Jungfraujoch. The temperature there is usually lower than in the cities even in summer. In case you feel too cold you can always go inside the restaurants which are close to the observation deck.
  • You can safely drink tap water, the quality of it is often measured as purer than that of bottled mineral water
  • Don't forget to take a mini umbrella and a light raincoat.
