Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Depart for the Netherlands

Depart for the Netherlands.

Day 2 Arrive in Amsterdam

Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Drink and orientation followed by dinner.

Day 3 Amsterdam Canal Tour

This morning, board a glass-top boat for a delightful cruise of the winding canals for an up-close view of stately historic mansions, 16th-century gabled merchant houses, and charming churches with bell towers. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of traditional Holland that includes a visit to Volendam, a charming fishing village on the old Zuiderzee. Next, visit a cheese farm and see a historic windmill and clogmakers. Tonight, you may wish to participate in the optional dinner at a cozy Dutch restaurant followed by a walking tour with your guide to explore the narrow canals, bridges and lanes of the historical center including the notorious "Red Light" district. The classical architecture of Amsterdam truly come alive at night.

Day 4 Brussels City Tour

This morning, travel through Holland's open fields, criss-crossed with canals and windmills to reach Belgium. Arriving to the capital city of Brussels, enjoy a tour with guided views of the Atomium, Palace of Justice, and 17th-century Grand Place with its decorated guild houses. Stroll the city center to view the famous Mannekin Pis fountain. Afterward, continue to the city of Bruges, also known as the "Venice of the North", and home to some of Europe's best preserved medieval buildings. Tonight, dinner is in a local restaurant.

Day 5 Bruges City Tour

This morning, enjoy a delightful orientation in Bruges with its charming squares and historic buildings. The tour takes you first to view the Lake of Love (Minnewater) and the Beguinage convent. Continue with a walking tour of the city's medieval districts, where you will visit Our Lady's Church, which houses the famous Madonna statue by Michelangelo, the Market Square and Belfry, and the Town Hall Square with its Chapel of the Holy Blood. Later, depart Bruges for Paris where you will have the evening at leisure, or you can join the optional tour to discover the "City of Lights" with the illumination tour and dinner in a typical French bistro.

Day 6 Paris City Tour

This morning, enjoy a guided city tour of Paris including a drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe. View the Eiffel Tower, Cathedral of Notre Dame, Les Invalides (which contains Napoleon's Tomb), the Latin Quarter, and the lively Opera district. Spend the afternoon exploring Paris on your own, or join the optional tour of Versailles Palace where you will see classical French architecture at its most decadent.

Day 7 Full Day in Paris

Today, spend at leisure in Paris. Explore the countless museums, such as the Louvre and Orsay, relax in the Luxembourg gardens or shop in the capital of fashion. Or, you may wish to join the optional guided tour of the Louvre museum in the morning where you will enjoy the expertise of a professional guide. You will see some of the most famous art works of all time, highlighted by the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the museum’s most reputed masterpiece, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

Day 8 London via the Chunnel

On arrival in London, meet your coach and guide and begin your panoramic tour of London. Begin with a drive through fashionable Kensington with its elegant squares and parks. Pass Harrods store and continue to view Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and the famous Big Ben. Continue to view Buckingham Palace, the London residence of Her Majesty the Queen. The tour ends this afternoon at your hotel.

Day 9 Full Day in London

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore London. With countless sightseeing opportunities, cosmopolitan London offers more in one place than almost any other city on Earth. You may return to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard or visit the British Museum, take a ride on the London Eye, or visit Madame Tussauds, the National Gallery or take in a West End show.
