Afterward, visit the Cathedral of Lisbon and enjoy the elegant Liberdade Avenue. Take a walk along the winding cobblestone streets to Alfama, the old Fisherman’s Quarter, nestled between the Grand Castle and the River Tagus. Afternoon at leisure or, join the optional tour to quaint Sintra, the “Glorious Eden” of Lord Byron, and ancient summer retreat of the royal court, highlighted by lavish romantic castles and stunning monuments. Depart Lisbon this morning heading South. Cross the region of Alentejo, with its rolling hills, vineyards and cork oak trees. Reach the Spanish border and enter the region of Andalucia. Continue your drive through picturesque Andalucia to Seville. After dinner, opportunity to attend an optional Flamenco Show in Seville, known as the birthplace of Flamenco.

Day 5 Seville City Tour

This morning, drive to the Plaza de España, passing Maria Luisa Park, and explore the narrow streets and many plazas of the Santa Cruz Quarter. Day 12 Ave High Speed Train to Barcelona

A morning transfer to Madrid’s train station to board the exciting high speed train to sensational Barcelona. Arrive and transfer to your hotel in Spain's second most important city with its unending choice of museums, galleries, and cafes. Balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps stroll along Las Ramblas, Barcelona's famous pedestrian walkway with its life size animators, stalls and people watchers.

Day 13 Barcelona City Tour

This morning's tour of Barcelona begins with a drive along the old Harbor to the Plaza de Catalunya, the city's bustling main square. Afterward, pass the famous works of Gaudi, the master architect, including the Casa Batllo, seemingly constructed from skulls and bones. Then, view the iconic symbol of Barcelona, La Sagrada Familia, a colossal church that is legendary and still unfinished. Ascend Montjuic Hill, home to a number of sports facilities built for the 1992 Olympics with the Olympic Stadium at its center.

Day 14 Full Day in Barcelona

Full day at leisure to explore Barcelona independently or, join the optional morning tour to Montserrat. Enjoy a relaxing drive passing picturesque villages before reaching Montserrat Mountain. On arrival, visit the Royal Basilica, where you will see the famous 12th-century Romanesque sculpture of "Virgen Moreneta." This evening, gather with your newfound friends and Tour Manager at a local restaurant for a Farewell Dinner.
